REGISTRATION CHECKLIST
All new and returning riders should complete these steps (All items must be completed to be registered)
- Complete the online registration form (linked above)
- Pay your Orem Youth Cycling team fees or complete a Jump Start application – Payments accepted through Paypal or in person.
- Watch your email for a NICA Pit Zone invite, complete the league registration in your NICA Pit Zone account, and pay your league fees.
- Accept TeamSnap invite – so you can see the team calendar and receive team communications/alerts
- Get fitted for a team kit (jersey, shorts, etc.) and order your kit through the team store.
DETAILED REGISTRATION STEPS
Complete the online registration form.
All new and returning riders should complete the online registration form. This form is revised each year and may include additional questions to help us gather information needed to organize and run the team. We use this information to send out NICA Pit Zone & TeamSnap invitations for new riders and to update existing info. for returning riders.
Pay Your Orem Youth Cycling Teams Fees OR complete the jump start application
Pay online using Paypal or payments by check/cash should be given to Ward Boyack – Orem Youth Cycling Treasurer
Complete jump start application (financial assistance form)
Complete your league registration in the NICA Pit Zone
New Riders – Once we receive notification that you’ve completed our online registration form and paid your team fees, a coach or team director will send you an invitation to the NICA Pit Zone and to TeamSnap. If you don’t receive these email invitations within 48 hours, please contact your head coach. Once you receive the invitations, you will need to create an account for your student and complete the league registration, sign the waivers, and pay the league fees. You can’t participate in team practices until this step has been fully completed and your Pit Zone account shows you as practice ready.
Returning Riders – Once you’ve completed our online registration form and paid your team fees, your Pit Zone Account will be opened for registration. Login to your existing NICA Pit Zone account and update your information, sign the waivers, and pay your fees. You can’t participate in team practices until this step has been completed and your Pit Zone account shows you as practice ready.
Accept TeamSnap invitation and set notification preferences
New Riders – TeamSnap is how we communicate with the team. We recommend you download the app on your phone so you have easy access to coach/ride leader contact information and receive team communications. Our practice/race calendar will be updated in TeamSnap with dates, times, ride plans and locations. You decide how you would like to get your notifications. Emails, text, or push updates are sent to update/remind you and or your racer of all the team activities from practices to races and everything in between. You can update your notification preferences in the app. Please upload a current picture to your account to help the coaches and team members get to know you.
Returning Riders – Please login and review your information and update as needed. Please upload a current photo to your account so new team members can get to know you.
Order Your Team Kit
Get fitted for a team kit and order your kit through the team store. We will have jerseys and shorts available for you to try on before you place your order. A link to the team store will be posted to our website with the dates that the store will be available. You must complete your order by the deadline or you will not receive a team kit. Team kits are required to race and will NOT be available to order or purchase later in the season. Please don’t miss the deadline.
