JOIN OUR STRAVA CLUB
And Complete Our Challenges on Challenge Hound
We want Orem Youth Cycling to become a community which is why we created a Strava club. We would love to have you join the club to not only track your own workouts but to see what other team members are up to in their training.
Strava lets you track your rides and runs via your iPhone, Android, or dedicated GPS device. You can even use an old cell phone without service by uploading rides with wifi after you get home.
How To Join The Orem Youth Cycling Strava Club
- Register for a free Strava account
- Login
- Go to our Strava Club page or use the search
- Click the ‘Join Club’ button
Why Join?
- See how your metrics stack up against other team riders
- Get motivated to ride more and move your way up the weekly leaderboards
- Keep track of your mileage (per bike, per week, per month, per year)
- Compare your times against previous rides and segments
Privacy
We recommend that our student athletes update the privacy settings in their Strava accounts.
To do this, login to Strava >click on your profile >click on settings >privacy controls. At a minimum, set your profile page so only followers can see it and setup a privacy zone around your house.
Challenge Hound is a website that links to your Strava account and allows us to create and track different challenges that you can join. We’ll post challenges periodically to motivate and encourage you to get out and ride not only at practices but with your family and friends too. Some challenges will be just for fun and others will have a prize drawing for those that complete the challenge.
